Nashville Music Tech Event Draws More Than 70 Educators
More than 70 music teachers in the Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) recently attended the MNPS Music Technology Conference, two days of leading-edge music and audio technology professional development training underwritten by the Coalition and the NAMM Foundation.
The best-in-class training program prepared these educators to teach audio recording, use instructional technology and assessment tools, and more. Coalition partners MusicFirst, the Nashville Symphony, Newzik, and many others took part in the program, presenting to and engaging with district arts leadership and educators.
The conference builds off the work that GMEC has done in Nashville schools, such as helping fund a new recording studio and more.
